Minnesota Bluegrass August Festival is held annually with music on six stages. Bluegrass, Old-Time Stringband, and related acoustic and Americana styles are part of the event. A pre-festival jam camp for ages 12 and up runs ahead of the main festival.
Attendees can bring instruments to join jams and workshops. A kids talent show is part of the week. Food trucks and craft booths are on site, with seating in a natural amphitheater. Jam Camp includes classes and breakout sessions by instrument group, plus ensembles and seminars. Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
