Hodag Festival Grounds

The Hodag Country Festival usually takes place on the second weekend of July each year in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The festival’s grounds are situated on a 40-acre site, providing ample space for attendees to enjoy the music and festivities.

The festival’s unique name, ‘Hodag’, is derived from a folklore creature reported to exist in Rhinelander in 1893. The creature is now a symbol of the city and a fitting namesake for a festival that has become a significant part of Rhinelander’s identity.
