Tacos y Tamales Festival takes place along the streets of Pilsen and follows a traditional Tianguis market style. Multiple stages host Latin-influenced sets including mariachi, norteño, Latin pop, cumbia, and rock en español, plus a separate DJ stage.
Tacos and tamales lead the food vendors, along with handmade tortillas and dishes prepared by Mexican chefs. Offerings also include quesadillas, pambazos, tortas, chalupas, churros, and elotes. Street Cantinas serve Modelo products and drinks such as micheladas, margaritas, sangria, and specialty cocktails. Local art installations and merchant vendors appear throughout the event, and pets are allowed but discouraged.
