Brookings Summer Arts Festival in Brookings, South Dakota takes place in Pioneer Park. Entertainers perform at the park Bandshell and on stages throughout the park. The event began in 1972 as an all-city celebration.
Juried artists display original work across multiple art disciplines. Gourmet and ethnic food booths operate alongside historic and antique vendors. An Artisan Food and Naturals area offers packaged foods and natural products. A children’s area in the center of the park provides educational activities.
