Cold Waves Festival is an annual event that started in Chicago in 2012 as a tribute to Jamie Duffy, a local sound engineer and musician. Since then, it has grown into a multi-city festival, with a flagship four-night event in Chicago. The festival not only raises awareness and funds for mental health charities, including Chicago nonprofit Darkest Before Dawn but also showcases the best of the industrial and darkwave genres.
Cold Waves Festival boasts an impressive lineup of both established and emerging artists.
The festival’s commitment to mental health is a testament to the power of music in fostering awareness and support for those in need.
