Fête de Marquette in Madison is a free, family-friendly festival at McPike Park. The event is hosted by the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center. It centers on French culture and Bastille Day. Multiple music stages feature genres like folk, funk, Americana, soul, jazz, and electronic music.
Beyond the stages, local street performers and artists appear in costumes, sometimes with stilt walking. A marketplace includes local vendors and artisans. Food is available from local vendors and food carts, along with beer and wine. Children’s karaoke, improv comedy, and storytelling are part of the programming. Proceeds support the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center and community programs.
