As one of the most entertaining festivals in the Midwest, Lakes Jam offers a unique blend of music, camping, and outdoor events on the grounds of Brainerd International Raceway (BIR). Get ready to jam! I have been to BIR 5+ times (not for Lakes Jam) but it is seriously one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life.
From its humble beginnings in 2013 to the spectacle it is today, Lakes Jam has consistently delivered a memorable experience to its attendees. Lakes Jam truly lives up to its tagline – “More Than A Music Festival”.
Non-music events include:
- WaterCross: a thrilling snowmobile racing event on the lake. high horsepower sleds and skilled pilots racing on an oval course!
- Drifting: a mesmerizing art. Drifting showcases skilled drivers maneuvering their cars in controlled chaos. Experience the thrill as they perform high-speed slides, tight turns, and impressive stunts.
- Poker Tournament: Compete against fellow Jammers in an exciting game of cards and try your luck to win fantastic prizes.
- Music Bingo: It’s a unique twist on the classic game, where instead of numbers, you’ll be marking off songs on your bingo card.
- Bean Bag Tournament & Costume Contest: Grab a partner, show off your bean bag tossing skills, and compete against other teams for bragging rights. Don’t forget to dress up in your best costume!
