North Iowa Band Festival

With its roots dating back to 1936, the North Iowa Band Festival has become a beloved tradition that showcases the talent of marching bands. This festival celebrates the city’s rich musical heritage and brings together the community in a weekend filled with music, parades, and festivities.

The North Iowa Band Festival offers a wide range of activities and events for attendees to enjoy. The signature event of the festival is the grand parade, which features marching bands from different regions showcasing their skills and creativity.

In addition to the parade, the festival also features a carnival filled with amusement rides and games for all ages. The carnival is located in the heart of downtown Mason City, providing an opportunity for attendees to explore the local shops and restaurants while enjoying the festivities. The Main Stage, also located downtown, hosts a variety of acts each night, ranging from local bands to dance teams, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The parade is Saturday along with most of the live music following.
