The annual (27th in 2025) Prairie Dog Blues Festival is a celebration of blues and roots music. Taking place on the historic St. Feriole Island, this event stages a mix of regional, national, and international blues bands.
Located on St. Feriole Island, nestled on the Mississippi River, is surrounded by rugged cliffs and hills. It looks close to La Crosse, not as big of cliffs but still stunning.
The 2025 PDBF promises an exciting line-up of blues and roots music. From Chicago Blues to West Coast Jump, hard-driving Mississippi Hill Country Blues, New Orleans horns, Texas Boogie, Zydeco, Gospel, and Blues Rock, the festival caters to every blues fan’s taste!
