Skokie Festival of Cultures

The Skokie Festival of Cultures is a vibrant annual event held in Skokie, Illinois, celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that make up this diverse community. Since its inception in 1990, the festival has grown significantly, now showcasing over 30 cultures and attracting more than 25,000 visitors each year.

Held over two days in May at Oakton Park, the festival offers a variety of attractions, including ethnic folk music and dance performances, arts and crafts, international children’s games, diverse food and beverage vendors, interactive cultural booths, and the festival’s iconic flag display.

The Skokie Festival of Cultures is a family-friendly event that caters to visitors of all ages. Children can participate in a variety of international games and activities, giving them a chance to learn about different cultures while having fun.
