Wisconsin State Fair takes place at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. The event has been at this site since 1892, with the first State Fair held in Janesville in 1851. Entertainment includes dozens of free stages spanning many music genres. The State Fair Main Stage features headlining entertainment scheduled nightly.
Ag Village includes hundreds of shows and exhibits with thousands of animals and exhibitors. Educational programs cover agriculture and renewable energy, with milking demonstrations also listed. Grand Champion Hall includes horticulture, craft, textile, and culinary competitions and displays. Food and beverage concessionaires operate throughout Fair Park, including entries in the Sporkies food competition. Shopping includes multiple marketplaces and the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, plus rides and attractions like SpinCity.
